M2M Charlotte is a place, a church, a Matters to Mission Worshiping Community  of people committed to living and worshiping with simplicity, joy and caring.  We care for the hidden wholeness in every person.  We care for justice and kindness in our society.  We care about thinking with open, critical minds and committed hearts. And we care about protecting and preserving our natural home; our neighborhood, our city and our planet. Because we care deeply about these things, we seek to practice our commitments in our personal lives and in the life of our worshiping community. We are a welcoming and affirming community whose faith is rooted in the life and teachings of Jesus.

M2M Charlotte: A Matters to Mission Worshiping Community is a New Worshiping Community.

By definition a New Worship Community is:

New

            – seeking to make and form new disciples of Christ

            – taking on varied forms of church for our changing culture

Worshiping 

            – gathered by the Spirit to meet Jesus Christ in Word and Sacrament

            – sent by the Spirit to join God’s mission for transformation of the world

Community

            – practicing mutual care and accountability

            – developing sustainability in leadership and finances

is supported under the auspices of the Presbyterian Mission Agency, through the 1001 New Worshiping Communities initiative and sponsored by the Presbytery of Charlotte, a presbytery of the Presbyterian Church (USA).
